Posting on various social media networks, Pom Klementieff appears to have announced the return of Mantis in Avengers: Infinity War!
We’ve had doubts about the Guardians of the Galaxy ever teaming up with the Earth's Mightiest Heroes on the big screen, but it looks like that’s what will happen in Avengers: Infinity War. While Chris Pratt's Star-Lord was confirmed by the Russo Brothers way back in April 2016, the fates of the remaining team members were unknown until the end of the year.
In the first few weeks of 2017, we've seen Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista and Sean Gunn announce the return of their characters - Gamora, Nebula, Drax, and Rocket Raccoon -in next year's Marvel Studios superhero extravaganza. Now, Pom Klementieff, who is joining the band of cosmic anti-heroes in this year's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as Mantis, has apparently confirmed that her character will show up in Avengers: Infinity War.
The Canadian-born French actress recently posted a photo via her official social media accounts in which she is sporting a beanie that bears a new logo for the May 4, 2018 release. The beanie is identical to one Sean Gunn was wearing in a recent Instagram photo. Klementieff captioned the photo with the hashtag "#infinitywar". Check it out below!
This isn't the first time the 30-year-old actress has teased her involvement in Avengers: Infinity War. She also shared an image of the Avengers #123 cover. As you may already know, the issue deals with her character’s shocking origin with the Avengers. Here's the image for you!
The filming of Pom Klementieff’s scenes as production begins for Avengers: Infinity War makes sense, considering the fact that Dave Bautista and Sean Gunn are also filming theirs at Atlanta's Pinewood Studio.
