Infinity War: The Collector Rumored to Appear

Avengers: Infinity War is already the biggest superhero movie of all time. All of the MCU superheroes introduced to date are ready to appear. In addition, the biggest and baddest of all villains is set to show why he’s top dog among the baddies of the MCU - Thanos will finally show what he can do in order to get his hands on the Infinity Stones.

He'll have plenty of places to go before arriving on Earth to grab Vision's Mind Stone, including wherever the Collector might be right now. As everybody knows, he’s had the Ether since the events of Thor: The Dark World. For the moment, we don't know what happened to him following the events of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, when his base was blown to bits.

And now, thanks to Josh Brolin, who plays Thanos, we’ve learned that the Collector will indeed appear in Avengers: Infinity War, which is currently shooting in Atlanta. During a live stream on his Instagram account, the actor announced that he will soon begin shooting with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Benicio del Toro.

Of course, Brolin could have been talking about shooting the sequel to Sicario, but we really doubt that.

The more, the merrier, right? Well, the Infinity War will certainly be the Russos' merriest film to date. Even if the Collector has just a cameo (as in the previous movies), the directors will have to show why the Asgardians trusted him with an Infinity Stone in the first place.

For the moment, the studio hasn't confirmed Del Toro's involvement in the movie. However, something official will certainly follow in the next couple of days.
