Next February, Chadwick Boseman will portray T'Challa/Black Panther in the character’s first solo film. Black Panther has been announced as a special Marvel Cinematic Universe event, not only because it’s the shared universe's first film to feature a black superhero, but also because it will lead directly into Infinity War. We don't know how that will happen, but Kevin Feige teased it when the solo project was announced.
Up until now, we believed that Wakanda wouldn't have that big a role in Infinity War, but this latest news confirms that we'll see several characters from this advanced country in the movie. Casting calls have already revealed that the Dora Milaje will appear, including T'Challa's own sister Shuri (Letitia Wright).
An official announcement on IMDB's Twitter page confirmed that Winston Duke would play M'Baku/Man-Ape in Infinity War and Black Panther.

This could be a spoiler, especially since Man-Ape is presumed to be an antagonist in Black Panther, along with Klaue (Andy Serkis) and Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan). His appearance in Infinity War means that he'll survive the first movie.
In the comics, Man-Ape is a great warrior who tries to steal T'Challa's throne. But he may not be a straight-up villain in the first movie, which will reveal his ambitions. When Thanos arrives, Man-Ape might have a shot at defeating Black Panther, which would throw Wakanda into chaos.
