In one of the most interesting and bewildering Avengers: Age of Ultron scenes, Thor’s having a vision about what may be the future while soaking in a bathtub. He sees Heimdall (minus his yellow eyes) in what appears to be Hel, blaming the God of Thunder for destroying Asgard. The scene was intended to be a bit longer, but Joss Whedon cut it short. Nonetheless, it served to set up both Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War.
We know that Hela is the main Thor: Ragnark antagonist, so we know that she exists in the MCU. Does the vision scene indicate that Thor: Ragnarok will end with Thor in Hel?
A new pic from the set of Avengers: Infinity War seems to suggest that this could be the case:

The set is in Edinburgh, Scotland, and various reports have it that Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo were spotted there.

And they weren’t alone! Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) was also photographed in the vicinity.

This might confirm that Thor: Ragnarok will have a surprise ending, with Hela actually winning (ensuring further MCU appearances by Cate Blanchett) and the main heroes exiled.
Who could save them from Hel? We assume it would be the Guardians of the Galaxy, since a stand-in for Rocket Raccoon was also photographed at the filming location.

However, this could also mean that Thor is paying Hela a visit after banishing her to Hel at the end of Thor: Ragnarok, especially if Cate Blanchett's character is actually Death from the comics.
It kind of makes sense now for Joss Whedon to retain that Avengers: Age of Ultron scene.
