Well, that escalated quickly - and we are not talking about the road taken until now towards the Thanos getting the Infinity Gauntlet and laying waste to the Avengers. We are talking instead about what Kevin Feige has just revealed.
Now we don't know whether he was joking or not, but this tidbit of information is pretty important when it comes to the future of the MCU. So if you don't want some spoilers concerning Thanos and HIS Infinity Gauntlet, then don't look any further!
Infinity Gauntlet
As you can remember, in Thor, the Infinity Gauntlet was resting in Odin's vault, pretty safe we might add. Now, the mid-credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron saw the Mad Titan reaching for a glove and saying that he will do it himself - meaning that he will be the one to search for the stones, and not his puppets (such as Ronan and Loki).
But how did he get the Infinity Gauntlet? We might believe that Loki just let him in, just to escape unharmed - as you know, Loki has replaced Odin on the Throne and now"¦ well, Ragnarok?
But it isn't so, according to Kevin Feige. Want to know why?
Thanos and HIS gauntlet
That's right - the Infinity Gauntlet from Odin's vault isn't the only one existing in the MCU: "There are two different gloves. That was not Odin's vault that you see at the end." (via Comic Book). As said, that escalated pretty quickly - what does he mean when saying that?
We have no idea - however, this does open a new possibility. If Thanos has an Infinity Gauntlet of his own, then this gives one of the Avengers (or even a Guardian of the Galaxy) the opportunity of wielding the other one, the one from Odin's vault.
We simply do not know. But what do you think?
