Ever since the year 2000, Hugh Jackman and Wolverine could not be separated! The Aussie actor has played the role in six different flicks of the X-Men Universe and the seventh one - Wolverine 3 of March 3, 2017 - is set to be his final performance as the mutant with claws.
It has been quite a long since we first got the confirmation from Hugh Jackman and he has re-confirmed that Wolverine 3 is indeed his ONE LAST TIME a number of times since then. And he has uttered that again to Toronto Sun. Here's what Jackman said:
"It is my last Wolverine. It feels like the right time and time to go."
Few days back, the 46-year-old actor expressed his opinion on who he wants to see as the next Wolverine - the name he proposed was of Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy. We got the below fan art just afterwards.

But from his more recent comment to Canadian new website, it seems like 20th Century Fox would be looking for a younger actor than Tom Hardy while recasting the character. Hugh Jackman states:
"It will be interesting to see a younger version of Wolverine, because I was already 30 when I took it on."
Well, doesn't that indicate the next Wolverine would be less than thirty years old? Someone who hasn’t crossed 30? Well, Tom Hardy is already 38!
On the next page - more from Hugh Jackman on Wolverine height issue and a fan art that shows how the Wolverine 3 poster would possibly look like!
Jackman Recalls Wolverine Height Issue!
Whatever be the age of the actor who comes up as the recast for the role, he is surely not going to as tall as Hugh Jackman! The actor is around 30cm taller than his character - while his height is 1.89m, Wolverine as depicted in the comic books is around 1.60m tall. Here's what the actor recalled about his height issue in initial days:
"I was in (then-Fox Entertainment CEO) Bill Mechanic's office, and they were having a kind of final meeting where they talked about my height. It was me standing in ditches, shoes off, people on planks and boxes standing next to me. They're all very, very nervous about that. But, by the second movie, no one cared."
Fan-Made Poster For Wolverine 3!
Art ninja Bosslogic came up with the fan art that showed us how Tom Hardy, if recast, would look as Wolverine. Now, he's come up with another one! This one is how a possible poster for Wolverine 3 would look like. The James Mangold flick is set to based on Old Man Logan story arc from the comics and that is reflected heavily with this fan art. Check it out below!
