Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II – Trailer Confirmed!

Yesterday, James Gunn talked a bit about Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II and its brand new trailer. Among other tidbits, the director said that the fans shouldn't expect the trailer to reveal anything of great importance from the movie, but it should arrive pretty soon. And, obviously, the fans believed that the next clip from Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II would be released by Christmas.

We were right, partially. However, we don't have to wait that long. In an unexpected turn of events, it was announced on ESPN that the exclusive trailer premiere would air tonight! So much sooner than anybody would have believed!

Given the success of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, you can bet that everybody will tune in, just to catch a glimpse of the heroes' next adventures!

As James Gunn said, this clip won't reveal anything of great importance. And if that’s true, then the fight with the inter-dimensional beast (revealed in the promo art) will be the movie’s intro, as expected. As you can see in the announcement below, Drax is courageously attacking the beast head on.

Check it out!

With a bit of luck, tonight's clip will bring us our first look at Kurt Russell's Ego, whether in human form or not. We guess this isn’t the kind of detail James Gunn was talking about. We don’t expect to see the movie’s villain, just like we don’t expect to see too many major connections to the rest of the MCU (such as cameos from ThanosGrandmaster, and so on…)

So be sure to tune in to ESPN tonight after 8:00 pm for the exclusive premiere of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. II trailer!
