Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - Attack on Earth

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits the theaters in a couple of weeks, and it’s already tracking to be one of 2017’s biggest hits. The most recent estimates put the movie's debut weekend somewhere north of $150 million, although the numbers could increase by quite a bit. We wouldn’t be surprised to see new information on Guardians of the Galaxy coming in on a daily basis.

Jimmy Kimmel has announced that on April 17 the entire cast will be present in his studio. The late-night host added that his sidekick, Guillermo Rodriguez, will cameo in the movie.

We might want to take this with a grain of salt. After all, Kimmel made a similar remark about The Bourne Ultimatum.

There’s also a newly released international trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It’s basically a compilation of scenes from the previously released trailers, so why would you see it? Well, because it features Earth, of all places!

Check it out below, a with the entire Jimmy Kimmel sketch!

This would be a pretty big reveal if it turns out that the Guardians finally visit Earth and meet with the Avengers. But this is why we believe that it isn't the case. As a matter of fact, we would be very much surprised if this were an actual scene from the movie, rather than just a tease. Who knows?

Maybe this is how Nathan Fillion's Simon Williams/Wonder Man will be introduced - as just a character in a movie.

Legions of fans will learn what happens when Guardians of the Galaxy is released on the 5th of May. Will you be among them?
