Doctor Strange – Trailer 2 Released

Doctor Strange

The second trailer for Doctor Strange has been released - and it's mesmerizing, to say the least. Imagine Inception, but taken to an entirely new level. Better yet, imagine those Steve Ditko comics coming to life. Marvel has kept its word on this - Doctor Strange will change the MCU.

If the first trailer just teased what the Sorcerer Supreme can do, now we finally see him in action. And if until now we may have been disappointed with the technologically-based superpowers of the MCU, we can say that it was worth the while. The clip looks exceptional from a visual point of view. So check it out below!

Of course, this has origin story written all over it. But maybe this is why it works so well. Maybe it is better if we aren't just thrown into this magnificent world. We're eased into it by Tilda Swinton's Ancient One, who tells Stephen Strange that he must study and practice.

This being said, if Mads Mikkelsen's Kaecilius is more powerful than Strange, how will the superhero deal with him?

Is Baron Mordo a secret villain? If the first trailer did tease that, this second one isn't doing it. Which is great - leave reveals of this kind of magnitude for the big screen! Reveals such as the one behind Kaecilius. Come on - there has to be someone bigger, and worse, behind him. Even if it isn't Dormammu, as we are all hoping.

All in all, great second Doctor Strange trailer! And it was released with another poster for the movie, with Benedict Cumberbatch at the center, tearing a hole through reality. And this is what the movie is all about, right? Writing new rules for the MCU. Check it out!

And the San Diego Comic Con isn't over just yet!
