Doctor Strange: Stan Lee Cameo Revealed

It was revealed today that Marvel has screened 15 minutes from Doctor Strange to some lucky fans. And while some said that the comedy fell a little flat at times, the reactions have been positive. Given the fact that there was no context for some of the jokes, it’s understandable why the comedy felt forced at times.

Besides praising the visuals, some say that Doctor Strange is another hit from Marvel, already comparing it to Captain America: The Winter Soldier (which is, according to many, the best flick in the MCU to date).

Furthermore, Stan Lee's cameo was also one of the preview’s highlights. So if you want to find out, read on. Obviously, there will be spoilers (after the latest clip from Doctor Strange).

Doctor Strange (Coming Soon)

Doctor Strange (Coming Soon)

The Doctor Strange preview contained several scenes, including Stephen Strange’s accident; his meetings with the Ancient One and Wong; the Cloak of Levitation in action; and a chase scene between Strange and Mordo, pursued by Kaecilius and his zealots.

According to Comic Book, the latter scene also contains the cameo. Check out the full description below:

In what looks like one of the most epic foot chases in cinematic history, Doctor Strange and Mordo are running down streets, up building sides, and across the sky as the world warps around them. After Kaecilius bends the building on which Mordo and Strange are running, they fall to the ground and into the side of a bus. As they fall, the camera angle switches to a point of view from inside the bus, revealing Stan Lee reading Aldous Huxley's The Doors of Perception. As Strange and Mordo smash into the bus window, Lee bursts out saying, "Now, that's hilarious!" until the camera swaps again and the chase continues.

It's only fitting for Stan Lee to read from The Doors of Perception during his cameo in Doctor Strange
