Marvel will release two of the most anticipated flicks (Civil War and Doctor Strange) in 2016, but they seem to have fallen asleep at the wheel, with just a couple of promo art releases and interviews scattered here and there. Captain America 3 will hit the big screens in just three months, and we’re wondering when the studio will kick-start the marketing campaign.
As of now, Marvel has released just a couple of promo art pieces each week, which isn't enough. We want to know more. We want to know so we can choose the better team during the Civil War. Will it be Captain America's team?
Or will it be Iron Man's team?
Or, better yet, should we just sit on the sidelines and watch as it all unfolds?
We have no clue just yet. We don't know who we should we put our trust in - we need another trailer. And don't get us started on the whole Spider-Man thing. Will we have to wait until Civil War opens to see him?
In other news, Paul Rudd talked with Superhero Hype about his role in the MCU. And, as we would expect from his characters, he has no idea where the movies will take him next. Of course, when signing the contract, he knew that maybe he'd have to become Scott Lang once again. He didn't know when that would happen next, though"¦
Talking about Civil War, the actor said that he put in a great deal of time on this movie: “Marvel's been great, as far as if I have something else and they'll work around it. It's not like I'm working on a series, which might be a little trickier as far as schedule. I worked on Civil War, and I didn't really work on it for very long, but as far as Ant-Man 2, I already know when that's going to go, so you just kind of plan accordingly. If anything comes along that I can film before or after, and it works out time-wise and it makes sense, Marvel's been supportive.”
So, if we get this right, Marvel has big plans for the diminutive superhero?
Civil War will be released on the 6th of May - come on, Marvel!
