Chris Pratt's career changing role is undeniably Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, the part he took in the box-office smash of 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy.

He's been in the limelight ever since, and his dinosaur-whisperer role in Jurassic World has definitely helped him keep the stage. In a talk with Digital Spy, the interviewer got to also pick his brains about the keenly awaited sequel of GotG.

While there's no official confirmation he'll reprise the role of Peter Quill in GotG2, Chris Pratt's interview makes us rightfully believe we'll get to see more of him on the big screen.

Chris Pratt in GotG2?

Indeed, as said, no official release confirms Pratt will return for GotG2. On the other hand, has anyone seriously ever doubt Pratt's comeback?

His answer to the interviewer's question should dismiss all possible doubts, however feeble.

So, the question goes like this: "Has James Gunn told you about Star Lord's stat yet? Do you know anything?"

And the answer comes readily: "I know everything", but, of course, with the dreaded "I cannot say" in tail.

That's enough of a reason to infer Chris Pratt will return as Peter Quill in GotG2, "˜cause otherwise why would Gunn bother to even talk to the actor about the part, let alone divulge everything about him? Plus, Gunn has recently confirmed, via his social media account, that the main cast would return.

Lead man in tears

So, you heard the man: "I know some of the songs that are going to be on Awesome Mix Vol 2″.

As to how the story unfolds, Pratt put it like this: “["¦] What I will say is that [Gunn’s] pitch and his ideas legitmately put tears in my eyes. It is so good, it’s so good".

Moreover, "From what I understand, Marvel [heard Gunn’s pitch] and they said nothing. [It] was that perfect".

So, a perfect soundtrack for a movie that has to meet higher expectations than its prequel ever had to face! But GotG did raise the bar that far, and that makes it all the more compelling for GotG2 to score points with both the fans and the box office.
