It hasn't been long since we first heard the rumor that Thor: Ragnarok would feature Mark Ruffalo's Hulk. And it didn't take long to get that confirmed by Ruffalo. Not only that, he also predicted that Thor and Hulk would fight in the November 3, 2017 release. And now, Chris Hemsworth predicts the winner of that fight!
We have seen the Odinson and the Green Rage Monster fight each other in The Avengers. Hulk seemed to get the upper hand in that fight. Again, in the sequel, Age of Ultron, we saw Hemsworth's character getting punched by Ruffalo's character all of a sudden. But this time, the result has to be the reverse! Hemsworth thinks Thor has to win this time around. Here's what he said in a recent interview with New York Daily News:
"I’d like to think I let him win last time, but because this movie is called ‘Thor,’ I have to win this time."
Well, his confidence seems to resemble with that of some kind of a SPORTS TEAM that has been beaten in a NEUTRAL VENUE but expects to win in a HOME MATCH for the HOME ADVANTAGE!
Looking Forward to Dialogue Scenes with Hulk!
Mark Ruffalo & Chris Hemsworth – their characters need to talk!
Chris Hemsworth seems to be more excited about the dialogue scenes with Hulk than the fight scenes in Thor: Ragnarok. He expects a Butch Cassidy-Harry Longabaugh kind of chemistry between the two. He stated:
"I hope it’s a Butch Cassidy (and the Sundance Kid”) sort of story. That would be fun."
The Aussie actor also shared that he thinks Thor hasn't spent enough time having a conversation with Bruce Banner so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He added:
""¦ So it’s something new, I think it would bring something different out of the characters. It’s hard to have a conversation with the Hulk."
It's difficult to talk to Hulk but it isn't that difficult to talk to Banner! So, that isn't impossible, is it?
Thor Might Appear After Avengers: Infinity War!
Hemsworth might play Thor after Infinity War movies!
Chris Hemsworth has three more movies to play Thor as per his contract with Marvel Studios. Apart from the third installment of the Thor series, he is also set to appear in Avengers: Infinity War – Part One and Part Two movies. But the actor doesn't want to shut down the possibility of extending his contract with the studio. He explained:
"Contractually that will finish me up, I have to see how I feel at the end of them, it’s still a while away."
After joking that a fourth Thor flick should allow his character to let himself go physically, Hemsworth added:
"Ask me in three films time."
