Avengers: Infinity War Wraps

The first Avengers movie was 2012’s biggest comic book movie event. Similarly, Avengers: Infinity War is currently the biggest shared universe, which speaks volumes, given the number of current cinematic universes. The sheer number of characters involved in the Infinity War is an indication, let alone the fact that it’s the culmination of eighteen movies.

Thanos is finally going to do it himself, and he'll stop at nothing! The Nova Corps, the Asgardians, and the humans can't do a thing about it! And he does appear imposing. Just look at the previous films and the D23 Expo display.

But when will we have our first look at Infinity War? Will we ever see even a brief clip? It could happen at next week's San Diego Comic Con, especially now that the Russo Brothers have announced that shooting has wrapped!

The brothers, who also directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, made the Infinity War announcement via their Instagram account, stating simply, One down:

One down.

Of course, we already know that Marvel announced movies Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther for their Hall H event. However, the panel will be 90 minutes long, and that’s a whole lot of time to fill. Surprises can happen! Sure, we might expect Ant-Man and the Wasp to drop or more Captain Marvel news to break.

But Marvel will certainly want to cement their status as the rulers of Comic Con, so we’re sure that they’ll feature Avengers: Infinity War along with the rest.

After all, its release date’s less than a year away!
