We had to wait forever for Marvel to finally decide to drop the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer, and now we’re going through the same ordeal with the second. But here’s some good news to tide us over: the studio recently released some new promotional materials via EW.
We recently showed you some promo art pieces that featured the movie’s heroes and villains, and the new materials include 15 new EW covers that spotlight 23 major characters from the April 27 release.
The cover shots include the movie’s main villain, Thanos (Josh Brolin), plus heroes Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Spider-Man (Tom Holland). The Iron Man cover offers us a new look at his Bleeding Edge armor.
The remaining covers feature 15 additional heroes from the Russo Brothers flick, including Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Shuri (Letitia Wright), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Vision (Paul Bettany), War Machine (Don Cheadle), and a few Guardians of the Galaxy.
Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) are conspicuously absent. But check out the covers below!
In addition to the covers, EW published two new stills from Infinity War. The first depicts RDJ, Cumberbatch, Ruffalo, and Benedict Wong as their characters in New York City. The second, provided by Total Film, shows Boseman, Evans, Johansson, Stan, and Gurira in character in Wakanda. Here are the stills:
