Ant-Man: The Japanese Trailer and First Reactions

Ant-Man

Ant-Man is about 3 weeks away from being released, on the 17th of July. And some people have seen it - while most of the moviegoers are more than satisfied, some others give it a meh, saying that it lingers too much on the daddy issues plot and on the exposition.

But aren't all heist movies just the same? Don't they need a build-up, towards one final great scene, when the heist actually happens? We haven't seen it yet, but we can bet that these negative reviews aren't exactly unbiased"¦

Check out below the Japanese trailer for Ant-Man and then check out the first reactions!

Pretty much like with the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, the Japanese trailer for Ant-Man does bring new footage, although not as spoilery as this year's other Marvel movie. Check it out below!

What's new in this Japanese version is that we see how Scott Lang attempts to make an honest living by taking a job at a fast-food restaurant. It doesn't work, obviously - the rumor is that he forgets to mention to his boss that he has been imprisoned. More emphasis is also put on the relationship with his daughter (those daddy issues that have bothered some of the viewers).

Oh, there is also an Iron Man reference, but you surely noticed it.

As said, the vast majority are positive enough, saying that Ant-Man is a hit from all points of view (even if the tracking suggest a rather modest opening weekend, at around $50-$60 million). And there is also a surprise!

Ant-Man will have 2 end credits scenes, both of which are fun and important in their own way! Check it out!
