If you thought that Guardians of the Galaxy was Marvel's oddest creation, wait until you see Ant-Man - the first trailer, lasting about 2 minutes, was released last night during Agent Carter and it didn't fail to impress.

Even if it didn't feature as many action sequences as, say, the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer, the Ant-Man clip debuted probably the most tender and emotional Marvel film to date, with glimpses caught between Scott Lang and his daughter.

Actually, Kevin Feige already said that it will be so, since this will primarily be a story of redemption, of a father trying to be a hero not for the world, but for his own daughter.

An Ant-Man marketing campaign

While the trailer for Marvel's tiny superhero film let itself waited, this doesn't mean that the studio didn't entice the fans with a very clever and surprisingly funny marketing campaign. From the ant-sized teaser to the hilariously NOT VISIBLE Ant-Man poster, Marvel has outdone itself - again, the "You're Welcome" from the Guardians of the Galaxy poster has nothing on the Ant-Man one.

But then again, the movie has been in production for the last 10 years, losing its long-time director Edgar Wright in the process - so the studio had plenty of time to think how they will sell it.

Who, when, where?

As hinted in the trailer, this will indeed be a heist movie, with an old Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas) hiring Scott Lang for a daring heist - the Ant-Man technology shouldn't fall in the wrong hands.

Paul Rudd (yes, that Paul Rudd) is the main character, Evangeline Lilly is Hope Van Dyne (and, presumably, Wasp) and Corey St0ll is the main antagonist Darren Cross/Yellowjacket.

Ant-Man is scheduled for release on the 17^th of July this year and it is the last Marvel Phase II movie.
