10 days ago or so, the news broke loose: Marvel brought Spider-Man back home! Marvel has already figured out how they will revive the franchise. Apparently, they will start fresh with a cameo in Captain America: Civil War.

Well, whether it's a cameo of a full-blown role, that remains to be seen. But chances are it's going to stick to a mere cameo.

Fans, however, couldn't handle the waiting. So the web went abuzz with some of the funniest and wittiest Spider-Man mashups. Ever wondered how the web slinger could be worked out in Batman, Whiplash, The Lord of the Ring or even Fifty Shades of Gray?
