Gyllenhaal Doesn’t Think Batman Is A Superhero!

This might hurt the fans of Batman! In the interview, when the Southpaw star was asked to give his opinion on whether or not he thinks the Caped Crusader is a superhero, he reportedly replied in negative! Just like the interviewer Mike Golic, Gyllenhaal also thinks that the Titan of Gotham isn’t a superhero. However, the other ‘Mike’ on the show – Mike Greenberg – had a different opinion.

This is just a timeless debate! Since he doesn’t have any superpowers, he isn’t a superhero! But is it compulsory for a superhero to have superpowers? Or is it his actions that earn him the title of a superhero? I think the following statement of Christian Bale’s Batman has the answer hidden in it – “It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.”
