Wonder Woman, one of the most anticipated superhero movies of 2017, raised everybody's expectations this summer at the San Diego Comic Con. The teaser-trailer released back then was in no way like the ones for the previous DCEU movies - still gritty and realistic (as realistic as a movie about a demigoddess can be), Wonder Woman seemed to have characters who can genuinely smile, as well as a different palette of colors, while also being heavy on symbolism.
The second trailer was released today, and it didn't disappoint. Sure, it didn't reveal too much (like the main villain), but it kicked all sorts of butt. You can check it out below!
We don't know about you, but this second trailer has convinced us that Wonder Woman will be the movie to make the difference for the DCEU. After three divisive movies, it was about time. Of course, there were reports that Patty Jenkins' film is a mess - however, there is nothing to say these reports were true, other than the short DCEU history so far.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, while box office hits, still disappointed (both the fans and the studio, since they didn't make the money they were expected to). Wonder Woman can change that.
Today has also seen the release of three new posters for Gal Gadot's first solo outing in this shared universe. To say that they are superb is an understatement - check them out below!
So what do you think? Will Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot redeem the entire DCEU?
Wonder Woman will arrive on June 2, 2017.
