Our first look at Wonder Woman came last year at the San Diego Comic Con, with an almost immediate backlash from the fans following. By all means, though the image respected the tone of the previous pics teased by WB, the tone wasn't the problem.
Instead, the main problem was that Wonder Woman didn't necessarily look like, well, her comics counterpart. Or, at least, it didn't meet the fans expectations, some of them even saying that she looks like Xena, the warrior princess, instead of Diana, the Amazon Princess.
But for the last couple of days a slew of promo art images found their way on the internet, teasing the fact that Wonder Woman's costume will evolve during Batman v Superman.
Wonder Woman - an evolution of the costume
It was already revealed that Wonder Woman will wear no less than 6 different costumes throughout Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And while we didn't expect major updates, these few next touches do add a little to her character.
We don't really know how big her part will be next year, but still. Even if she might just have a glorified cameo, we at least know that thought and time was given to her character.
The pic revealed at Comic Con already showed that she will have her lasso and her tiara in the upcoming movie. However, the promo art also reveals that she will also have quite a cape, as well as a shield. We don't really know whether or not she will use the latter, but, as said, these are nice additions. Check out the promo art below.

Furthermore, it is actually good to see that the character has received the much needed color - at least as far as her appearance is concerned.
WB has been very secretive about Batman v Superman until now - but seeing all of these promo art makes us believe that, in the end, this movie will meet our high expectations.
