Suicide Squad: Joker Stands Apart in New Poster

The Joker stands apart

DC and Warner Bros aren't pulling any punches today - after the release of the Wonder Woman movie logo and of the first Justice League concept art, we now have another official poster for Suicide Squad. And, just like with the previous ones, don't expect for anything that might resemble the posters of other superhero flicks (probably because this isn't a superhero flick at all).

What can be said about it, though? Well, it surely channels some of the Joker's most favorite colors, purple and green, while also presenting us with a dilemma. As you can see below, it's just a smiley (granted, it seems to be the smiley you’d see on a pirate ship’s banner). And while the Suicide Squad and Amanda Waller form the grin, the Joker occupies ones of the eyes.

For whom is the other eye reserved? The new Suicide Squad poster is below!

Suicide Squad

For quite some time now we have been asking ourselves why the Suicide Squad is formed. Who are they supposed to hunt? The missing eye might just be a clue, hinting at the existence of another villain, one who hasn't been revealed just yet.

However, it may be something else. That slot may be occupied by none other than the Batman, the one who captured all the characters from the poster (except, of course, for Waller). Which once again shows how close the Joker and the Batman are one to another.

And, of course, this wasn't the only question which remained. How did the Joker escape? Will he get caught again? Does he actually kill Robin in this movie? What does Enchantress have to do with all of these? Will Batman come to blows with Amanda Waller, for coming up with the concept of a Suicide Squad?

And there are many more questions without any answers.

Hopefully, tonight's Suicide Squad trailer will shed some light onto some of them.
