A couple of days ago it was reported that Suicide Squad is undergoing extensive reshoots, in order to inject more fun into the final product. Apparently, Warner Bros is concerned with the future of the DCEU after the terrible reviews of Batman v Superman and after the superhero showdown looks more and more like a disappointment from a box office point of view.
But is there any truth to this reports? Will Warner Bros change the entire Suicide Squad movie, just a couple of months before its release? This would be an awful mistake we believe.
Even if all the jokes from the flick were squeezed into the couple of minutes of the trailers, changing the film at this point could only worsen it - and that is if and only if Suicide Squad is as bleak as Batman v Superman. And then, even if it is dark, how should a movie about supervillains fighting even bigger villains be? Suicide Squad is one awesome concept which shouldn't be ruined on the last straight line.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor with the best agent in Hollywood (also known as Jai Courtney) was asked about these rumors. According to the actor, the reshoots aren't in order to inject funny scenes - but more fun, in the sense of more action sequences: "I think there's plenty of that in it, I wouldn't say we're going back to make it funnier. There's some additional action stuff that we've been doing, which is pretty dope. Really, we're just kind of adding in that sense."

Who do we believe then? Do we believe the actor, who works for WB and has no interest into revealing such spicy (and potentially damaging) details? Or the many others, who actually have a reason behind their words?
