Rumoured Aquaman Credits-Scene Reveals Big Plans for Spoiler!

Aquaman is the only Worlds of DC movie coming out this year. However, judging from the trailer, it will be more epic in scale than any other flick set in this shared universe. So we guess that it will be enough to satisfy the hunger of DC Comics movie fans.

It has huge battles and huge action sets, there is undeniable chemistry between the leads (as seen in the SDCC exclusive footage), it has comedy, and it has a villain with whom the audiences can empathize.

As a matter of fact, it has more than just one villain. King Orm is the main antagonist and his motivations for waging war are understandable. But there are other villains in the film as well. And, according to this rumoured credits scene, one of them has a long future in the Worlds of DC.

Spoilers will follow!

Aquaman (Warner Bros)

According to Discussing Film, one of the Aquaman stingers sets out the return of Black Manta as a main antagonist in a future film. In this way, according to the website mentioned above, the credits scene will see the villain teaming-up with Randall Park‘s Dr. Stephen Shin and plotting against the superhero.

This rumour falls in line with what actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II said about a week ago about Black Manta. According to the actor, the fans should expect to see his character in more Worlds of DC movies than just this one. The actor even implied that he'll appear in movies that don't focus on Aquaman.

From this rumour it also appears that Randall Park (who also played Jimmy Woo in Ant-Man and the Wasp) will also have a bigger role in future movies. It remains to be seen whether this year's film presents him as just a friend of Arthur Curry or if he has already become an enemy.

Black Manta (Warner Bros)

Aquaman arrives in theatres on the 21st of December.
