Man of Steel 2 – proposed date

It is a long way until there – apparently, the powers that be have decided that Man of Steel deserves a sequel no sooner than 2019 and no later than 2020. As said, there is a long way.

So how many of the details presented in here can make it into the actual film? Well, most of them. Brainiac has been rumored to arrive ever since the first Man of Steel came out. Supergirl is almost certain in the DCEU, just because there was a pod opened in the scout starship. As far as Bizarro is concerned, he might just make it, to become an anti-hero in the end.

However, to be noted, scribes weren’t even found for the Man of Steel sequel. And that is because an important villain in the Superman rogue gallery makes his appearance next year: Lex Luthor. The studio most likely wants to wait and see how the audiences react to Jesse Eisenberg’s portrayal of the villain and start planning from there on.

But this is a good news nonetheless! George Miller directing, Brainiac as a hidden mastermind and Bizarro as the muscle – almost too good to be true.
