Very long time ago, when DC and Warner Bros didn't even start shooting Man of Steel, Dwayne The Rock Johnson teased a major role for him in a DC live action movie - and everybody believed that he will be the Main Man, Lobo himself. It wasn't so, with the wrestler turned actor set to star as Black Adam in 2019's Shazam!
But the Lobo fans have nothing to worry about, since another iconic actor (yes, he is iconic) explicitly teased the DC character.
For those who don't know, Lobo is DC's parodic answer to Marvel's Wolverine - an over the top anti-hero, who is a bounty hunter and drives a demonic space motorcycle, whose powers are all over the map, and who basically cannot be defined with just a couple of words. In a way, he is an outsider, no matter from which perspective he is seen.
So what actor is better for such a role than the amazing Danny Trejo, who is himself an outsider for the movie industry? The guy spent most of his youth in prisons and only because of that he secured his first role in a film.
So how explicit was the actor? Well, check out the Tweet below!

Pretty explicit, we say, though for the moment it isn't known where he might end up playing Lobo. The most websites report that, after Jonah Hex was cast in Legends of Tomorrow, the studios are planning on bringing Mister Machete (actual nickname of Lobo, as well as the most well-known role of Danny Trejo) into the fold as well. Some other websites, on the other hand, believe that he might cameo in one of the upcoming DC movies (very low chances for that to happen).
In any way, we believe that Machete is perfect for the role. And seeing how he looks, we can bet that he won't be bringing the New 52 version of the character to life.
