An insanely popular but INSANE fan theory on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice can finally REST IN PEACE! Don't have an idea on the theory I am talking about? It is the one which claimed that Ben Affleck in the upcoming DC Extended Universe installment isn't playing Batman – rather he is Slade Wilson disguised as the Caped Crusader! And Christian Bale, Christopher Nolan's Bruce Wayne, is the real version of the superhero and he will eventually come back to Gotham!

It was actually a 15 chapter long thesis that used more than 50 images to reach to that conclusion! That theory/thesis, whatever it is, couldn't even make me laugh - it really irritated me, maybe because I loved Manu Bennett's portrayal of Slade Wilson on Arrow and didn't want Ben Affleck to RUIN it – just like some are concerned about him ruining Batman!

Now, how can I dare to say that Batman V Superman fan theory has been shut down? I can, I will, because the confirmation comes from none other than Christian Bale himself!

He Never Heard That Batman V Superman Theory Before!

A big THANKS to Yahoo for catching up with the Academy Award winner at the premiere of his upcoming flick The Big Short on the AFI Fest's closing night. The Welsh actor was asked about the possibility of the speculation to come true, to which he said:

"I haven't heard that. This is the first I've heard of it. I think it's pretty clear that Ben [Affleck] is playing Batman now."

Well, someone who worked so hard to make such a lengthy thesis or read it believe it is unlikely to consider their theory being debunked by those set of words! The possible complain would be - he hasn't been specific! Well, in that case, let the conclusive statement from Christian Bale be shared:
