The latest TV spot for Batman v Superman provides even more context for one of the most recent clips - when Superman faced the Batmobile and the Batman issued one of the most serious (and hilarious at the same time) threats.
Just a couple of hours ago, Zack Snyder made a special appearance on Conan, who announced a new clip with new footage. Of course, they didn't show the TV spot - that was a poor attempt at a joke, we know it. Conan taught us.

Pretty intense, right? It is - though we do believe that the dialogue suffers just a bit. Sure enough, Batman's lines are as epic as possible. But it just feels weird seeing the Man of Steel, the symbol of hope, issuing a threat.
What do you think, though? Why would Superman act in such a way? The most recent rumors concerning Batman v Superman say that there is a reason why the Clark is so out of character. According to them, Lex Luthor has a hand in it, in the sense that he actually managed to create some Red Kryptonite. Using it, he simply makes the False God lose its mind with rage, which actually solves two problems for Luthor - making the world believe that Sups is evil and getting rid of Batman (and Bruce Wayne, one of Lex's main competitors).
Could this be it? Is this the reason why Superman is such a dick? Another rumor also comes to mind, which could explain why this happens - according to this one, this isn't the actual Kal-El that we're seeing, but rather his clone. But this one is such a stretch"¦
