In its latest issue, Entertainment Weekly covered everything that is new about Batman v Superman. From the superhero cameos to the supporting characters, it has everything for those who desire some sweet spoilers - and we guess that there are many who still need to be convinced to see this movie.
So what else can we find out about Batman v Superman?
According to Gal Gadot, she appears in the movie not as a retired Wonder Woman, but as one who wants to leave her days of superhero stuff behind. In a sense, Batman v Superman shows her that she cannot escape who she is (the whole with great power comes"¦):
I appear in this film just as she is trying to escape her days of being Wonder Woman.
As the actress explains, Bruce Wayne is the one who can bring her back into the fold:
When she meets Batman, she feels he will be the one to bring her back to her glory days; that dynamic between the three of them is very intense because they fight for the same values. But everyone wants to shine, there is much tension"¦good tension, I would say.
Basically, she wants to leave everything behind - but there is a part of her that wants to remain relevant as a superhero.
Next up is Geoff Johns, executive producer for Batman v Superman, who reveals that it isn't known, for now, which of the Robins was killed in the DCEU. But, as far as we are concerned, it makes sense for Dick Grayson to have died, since he is the most well-known Robin and since a pic from the set revealed his tombstone.
In addition, Ben Affleck didn't reveal which of the sidekicks was killed by the Joker - but he did say that this particular story is in development.
As far as Jena Malone's character is concerned, she won't appear in the movie at all - at least not until the R-rated DVD is released. However, EW says that her character is a very important one, who will hint at the future of the DCEU - or is it just the future of the Batman? Thus far, all the rumors indicate that she is playing Barbara Gordon in Batman v Superman, though it isn't certain whether she is Batwoman or Oracle.
If you want even more spoilers, then know that Lex Luthor uses his power and vast resources in order to manipulate Batman and Superman, pitting them against each other. For him, this is just play - a game he must win. Pretty twisted, right? Well, he doesn't stop and he is willing to do everything that it takes, including hurting Lois Lane.
As far as Batman is concerned, he has one superpower – super-paranoia. The website reports that his fight against Superman is seen by the character as just the beginning, since he has become aware of the other metahumans as well - Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg!
