Arkham Knight - Be the Batman

Makes you wanna buy this game....

Batman: Arkham Knight is one of the most anticipated games of this year, being the final installment in Rocksteady's acclaimed Arkham series. And given the success of the whole series (which includes the titles Arkham Asylum in 2009, Arkham City in 2011, the prequel Arkham Origins in 2013), it should have been expected that they will ramp up the marketing campaign for this final game.

And what better way to celebrate the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight than with a life-action trailer, titled simply Be the Batman? Check it out!

The trailer was just released, today. So are you in for some new footage from the game as well? Check it out below!

Released after the overwhelming success of Nolan's The Dark Knight, the first game in the Arkham series approached the Dark Knight universe with the same realism. However, it also presented the fantastic elements of the Batman lore, as well as pushing the envelope for the open world gaming.

So maybe this live-action trailer might not be as action packed as, say, the Halo Reach one. And, quite frankly, it doesn't need to be, because the game is now a titan that has proved itself in this department time and time again.

Arkham Knight - inspiring the citizens

While the Dark Knight trilogy didn't actually dwell on how the citizens of Gotham felt inspired by the Batman (except for The Dark Knight Rises, of course), the live-action trailer for Arkham Knight is centered on exactly on this.

And it isn't just the fight against crime, but rather the fight to become a better person in the society.

Batman: Arkham Knight will feature the voices of Kevin Conroy (Batman), Jonathan Banks (James Gordon), Ashley Greene (Barbara Gordon/Oracle), Matthew Mercer (Robin), Scott Porter (Nightwing), Khary Payton (Azrael), John Noble (Scarecrow), as well as others.

The final installment of the Arkham series will be released on the 2nd of June 2015.
