Yesterday it was announced that Fantastic Four's Mister Fantastic (Reed Richards) will have some pretty special powers. From what we understood, he will be pretty different than the version from the comics, meaning that he will not literally stretch but rather bend the space around him.
Of course, some angry reactions from the fans already appeared, saying that the movie Fantastic Four cannot be saved any longer. That is why Simon Kinberg came and explained a bit more about Mister Fantastic's powers.

According to Simon Kinberg, by saying that Mister Fantastic warps the space around him and just appears to stretch was an attempt of scientifically explaining his powers. However, and as he said, this kind of explanation could be summed up in fewer and easier terms: “I think it was confusing. I was a little confused by it myself. The intent was to try to explain the power of Mister Fantastic with some sort of scientific explanation, but as you pointed out, most of his powers defy what we know about physics. The upshot of it is that he stretches in his movie. That is his power. That’s the simplest explanation.” (via Comic Book Movie).
So, after all, there is no reason to get even more aggravated about Fantastic Four.

Concerning the secrecy that surrounds the project, Simon Kinberg also said that they are keeping a tight lid on the project because they are trying to make everything as perfect as possible, as far as the special effects are concerned.
However, given the fact that Fantastic Four is about 4 months away from its release date, isn't that a reason to be concerned? Taking this Mister Fantastic example, and with this new piece of information, how long can it take until the final product is completed?
