So do you like Arrow and The Flash and do you have high hopes for Supergirl? Well, this are about to get a lot more interesting, since Legends of Tomorrow just revealed both the first look trailer, as well as the main baddie of the spin-off.

Of course, given that this series will be about time-traveling and that it will introduce 2 new superheroes, we shouldn't have expected for nothing else than a villain of these proportions. And no, don't believe that he is physically huge or anything like that.

Legends of Tomorrow vs. Vandal Savage

Yes, that Vandal Savage will be the main antagonist of Legends of Tomorrow - and it makes sense, since he is immortal and his machinations don't just stop if he is defeated. Sure enough, this makes him an even bigger threat to consider, since he is also able to draw to his side other supervillains.

A great strategist, since (well) he has been around since the dawn of humanity, Savage once posed a threat for the entire Justice League. So the heroes of Legends of Tomorrow will be tested to their upper limits.

Of course, while we know who will portray each member of the team, we still don't know who will portray Vandal Savage in Legends of Tomorrow. What we know is that it does look pretty cool and that we cannot wait for the heroes/legends to travel back in time.

Of course, some naysayers have already appeared, considering that Savage is too big a villain for a team comprised of (mostly) second tier (mostly) heroes. But then again who would have thought that having a Flash series would actually work?

For the moment, there is no exact scheduled release date for Legends of Tomorrow.
