Announced over recent days with a couple of new pics and a banner, the Iron Fist trailer has finally arrived. It’s filled with action, though some of the scenes were previewed in previously released teasers. Iron Fist's solo show seems to have everything necessary for success: action, humor, a hint of romance, and connections to the previous Marvel and Netflix shows.
More importantly, the trailer shows that the comic book backstory of the Final Defender (as Iron Fist is called) will be respected, even though there’s no dragon in sight and K'un-Lun is barely featured. So check it out below!

What does the trailer reveal? The most important thing is that we now know who the main antagonist is: Harold Meachum, who most likely makes it clear that Rand is his company by bashing someone's brains in. Furthermore, he has allied himself with Madame Gao from Netflix and Marvel’s Daredevil and Jessica Jones, thus hinting that she’ll probably play an important part in the upcoming Defenders flick.
Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple will return. After Luke Cage's departure, she might see herself thrown into another unlikely situation that requires the presence of someone with supernatural abilities.
Like previous Netflix shows, Iron Fist appears to be worthy of binge-watching. And since it will be followed by the Defenders event, it’s safe to say that the fans will really want to catch this one.
Iron Fist will be available on Netflix starting on the 17th of March this year. The Defenders will face Sigourney Weaver's mysterious character in September.
