In a recent interview with IGN, the Brazilian actress reveals a clear view on what Dr. Leslie Thompkins is all about in the Fox series. Morena stated that her character in Gotham doesn't stick to the comic book. Leslie stands to be someone with whom Gordon teams up in his fight in eradicating corruption. Morena termed the character to be very pragmatic and a little less stubborn than Gordon.

When asked if Dr. Leslie will emerge as friends with Thomas and Martha Wayne like the comic book narrates, she replied that she doesn't know to that extent but definitely believes this would happen. Morena also stated that Dr. Leslie will be seen in action sequences as well.
