Deadpool Movie: 5 Things We Absolutely Must See

Next year (on February the 16th of 2016, to be precise), Fox Studios bring us the Deadpool movie that (hopefully) we've all been waiting for.

After having put an... interesting (read "horrific")... spin on the character in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Wade Wilson will be getting his own solo outing, with Ryan Reynolds playing the character again - only this time in the manner that fans have wanted to see him for years.

Fox have a lot of making up to do when it comes to the depiction of Deadpool. That aforementioned depiction mostly silenced him and turned him into to a Frankenstein-esque mess.

So what will make the perfect Deadpool movie? This article will look into that subject with five things that absolutely must be included.

Fourth Wall-Breaking

Deadpool breaks the fourth wall Deadpool breaks the fourth wall

Ryan Reynolds has actually all but confirmed that this will be happening in the Deadpool movie - but we all know that the things people involved with movies say aren't always reflected in what actually happens in said movies.

That being said, one of Deadpool's most notable traits in the comic books is indeed engaging with the audience (whether it's because he's really aware of the fact that he's in a comic or just because he's completely insane is open to debate) AKA breaking the fourth wall and he really isn't Deadpool unless he does it.

Having him do the same with a movie audience (looking directly into the camera, speaking as if he knows he's being watched by cinema-goers) would really make fans of the character happy and, more importantly, it would add something to a comic book movie that has yet to be attempted in previous offerings.

If it works, it works. If it doesn't, at least fans who wanted it to happen can't complain.
