Hela’s Return Teases the Possible Existence of Marvel’s Seventh Infinity Stone

Marvel’s newest artwork hints at the resurgence of Hela as the formidable villain equipped with a potent weapon. The cover for “Thor” #35, revealed by artist Nic Klein, showcases the Queen of Hel wearing a black gauntlet that houses the much-anticipated seventh Infinity Stone, the Black Stone. This depiction accentuates how Hela poses a significant challenge to Thor’s search for explanations regarding his ominous visions.

In the ongoing series of the God of Thunder, Thor has been haunted by visions of his own death, courtesy of the Black Winter. These visions portray Thor’s ultimate stand against an undead army led by Thanos. Surprisingly, Thanos does not wield his typical Infinity Gauntlet but instead wears a black gauntlet that contains the enigmatic Black Infinity Stone. Moreover, he wields a Mjolnir adorned with the other Infinity Stones, adding to the gravity of the situation.

Thor strives to avert the ominous fate that looms before him, delving deeper into the Black Stone’s mysteries that have ties to his grandfather, Bor. When Corvus Glaive abducts Thor’s sister, Laussa, Thor ventures into a forbidden sector of Asgard, where he unearths Bor’s use of the Galactus Seed in his confrontation with Thanos, leading to the creation of the elusive seventh Infinity Stone. Marvel now teases what lies ahead in Thor’s quest, as a preview of “Thor” #35 unveils Hela’s comeback, wielding the Black Stone and a gauntlet of her own.

“Deadliest Thanos” Connected to Hela’s Return in Latest Marvel Revelation

In the comic book issue “Thor” #31 by Donny Cates, Nic Klein, and VC’s Joe Sabino, Marvel unveiled that Doctor Doom was among those searching for the elusive seventh Infinity Stone. Subsequent previews of “Thor” #32 and #33 hint at Doom’s nefarious plans to wield the Black Stone to conquer the universe. The preview of “Thor” #34 adds to the anticipation by suggesting that the impending clash between Thor and Doctor Doom will ultimately lead them to Bor’s epic confrontation with Thanos.

In the most recent preview of “Thor” #35, Hela emerges as the latest antagonist with a link to the Black Stone. The upcoming issue, scripted by Torunn Grønbekk and illustrated by Juan Gedeon and Sergio Dávila, and featuring a cover by Nic Klein, promises an intense confrontation between Thor and Doctor Doom, who is gearing up for a final showdown over the coveted Black Stone. Thor must overcome Doom’s machinations to protect the past, present, and future from irreparable damage.

The accompanying text preview of the latest issue also teases the unveiling of Hela’s backstory, as indicated by the cover depicting the Queen of Hel leading an army of the undead, sporting a black gauntlet, and wielding the elusive seventh Infinity Stone. Marvel’s hints strongly suggest a significant correlation between Hela’s origins and the enigmatic Black Stone.

Answers to the Mystery of the Black Stone Finally Revealed for Marvel Fans

Marvel has kept fans waiting for a long time to uncover the secrets behind Thanos and his Infinity Mjolnir, both empowered by the Black Stone. The initial hint was dropped over a year and a half ago, but since then, several story arcs have concluded in “Thor,” and the creative team has undergone changes. Currently, Thanos’ whereabouts in the Marvel Universe is uncertain, and a separate preview hints at the emergence of Ultimate Thanos.

Fortunately, Torunn Grønbekk has redirected the focus toward Thor’s ominous premonitions, and it appears that the truth about the Black Stone will soon be uncovered. Thor, Doctor Doom, and Hela will have substantial roles to play in forthcoming storylines related to the seventh Infinity Stone. As Doom has apprehended Hela, and there are indications that her origin is linked to the Black Stone, it appears that it has a crucial association with the undead and Asgard, surpassing what was previously speculated.

“Thor” #35 from Marvel Comics, written by Torunn Grønbekk and illustrated by Juan Gedeon and Sergio Davila, is set to hit comic book stores in June, offering readers more information about Hela’s comeback and the mysterious Black Stone.
