Atlantis Forces Chase Mera in Aquaman Set Video!

As the DC Extended Universe’s sole movie scheduled for release in 2018, Aquaman is apparently a blast from beginning to end. Of course, we have yet to see anything from the movie, but Jason Momoa has teased all sorts of on-set fun. Principal photography is expected to end on October 20, and we’re certainly looking forward to seeing some footage!

Until then, we'll have to make do with a set pic and some videos that have been shared by fans.

Amber Heard’s Mera (Comic Book)

A recent video showing Atlantis commandos chasing Mera (in this case, Amber Heard's stunt double) across rooftops might have revealed too much. Warner Bros. was quick to take it down, which they haven’t done with other leaked videos.

So what could the video have actually revealed? Since the chasers were all dressed in head-to-toe armor and carried weapons (via Comic Book), it only made sense that they were Atlanteans. Why would they chase Mera?

Jason Momoa revealed that Orm (Patrick Wilson) is the King of Atlantis, and it’s likely that Orm won't willingly give up the throne. So, we can assume that Mera has sided with Arthur Curry, which means that she’s now an enemy of Atlantis.

Patrick Wilson is Orm. (Screen Crush)

This is a major revelation, especially with the secrecy that surrounds this production!

Again, Aquaman will finish filming on October 20. It will be released on December 21, 2018.
