It appears that there are quite a few actors who want to join the Aquaman cast, particularly in the role of the villain. Reportedly, Jason Momoa's Aquaman will have to square off against Black Manta in the hero's first solo outing in the DCEU. Earlier today, Michael K. Williams said that he wants the role, and now another actor named Michael has revealed that he is interested, as well.
When a fan said he'd make a great Black Manta, Michael Jai White simply replied that he accepted the nomination. And, quite frankly, he would be a more believable enemy to Jason Momoa's Aquaman than Michael K. Williams. While he is not an actor known for his acting chops, White is one of the most skilled martial artists to come to Hollywood.
I accept your nomination! https://t.co/pn4XAlCYHr

Sure, he is still shorter than Jason Momoa. However, with his seven black belts in various martial arts and numerous titles won in national and international competitions, Michael Jai White seems perfect for the role.
And it isn't as if Jason Momoa is the best actor in Hollywood"¦
Furthermore, White isn't a stranger to comic book movies. The actor played the titular role in Spawn, appeared as Gambol in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, and he also portrayed the Bronze Tiger in the CW's Arrow.
In other Aquaman-related news, Zack Snyder tweeted a new pic featuring the aquatic superhero from the set of Justice League. Now, don't expect anything too revealing - it is just another pic for all the fans out there.
