The new press release from Marvel (via SlashFilm) includes the first official synopsis for the sequel to the last installment of Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Two. While it doesn’t delve into plot details, it does offer a rough idea of what’s going on:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: Ant-Man and The Wasp. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Superhero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

The press release also announced the full cast roster of Ant-Man and the Wasp. The only new additions were Abby Ryder Fortson and Bobby Cannavale, who will respectively reprise the roles of Cassie and Paxton from the original movie.

Michael Douglas, Michael Peña, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, and T.I. will all return to join Rudd and Lilly. As previously revealed, the Peyton Reed flick will introduce Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Doctor Bill Foster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch.
