UPDATE – A couple of social media posts from two Arrow stars offer confirmation on whether the titular superhero will be seen having the iconic Green Arrow goatee in future and provide the first look at Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk. Check these out at the end part of the article.

For Arrow Season 4, a number of characters and casts for them have already been confirmed. The list includes Captain America: The First Avenger star Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, Bates Motel star Alexander Calvert as Anarky and Sean Saves the World star Echo Kellum as Mister Terrific. Now, there's one more!

Rev star Jimmy Akingbola has been confirmed officially as the DC supervillain Baron Reiter – aka Baron Blitzkreig for the fourth season of the CW series. The confirmation arrives to us via The Hollywood Reporter. Nothing more is stated while describing the character for Arrow Season 4 other than "˜an adversary for Oliver'. And the additional information that is provided is that Jimmy's recurring character will appear in "˜the show's prominent flashback scenes'.

In the comics, the character is the leader of criminal organization named Shadowspire which is allied to Symbolix "“ a similar organization whose leader is Vandal Savage. We already know that Savage is the main antagonist of the upcoming Arrow/Flash spinoff series Legends of Tomorrow. So, it will be interesting to see if Baron Blitzkreig has a similar knot with Vandal Savage in the CW's DC Shared Universe.
