Ever since Fox announced that they will reboot the Fantastic Four franchise, everybody believed that this will eventually lead to a crossover between the two teams owned by the studio: the above mentioned one and X-Men. And we should have expected from back then for the tone of Fantastic Four to change, to better fit a shared universe.

And now this has happened "“ the new iteration of Marvel's Fox's most well-known superhero team is gritty and dark, pretty much like the X-Men franchise. So when will this crossover happen?

Well, somebody seems to know.

Latino Review believes that things are a bit uncertain at this point for this studio, as far as its superhero movies are concerned. However, while we know that we do have to wait for some time until it will happen, the crossover will eventually happen.

And it all depends on how this year's Fantastic Four will perform at the box office. The tracking for this movie suggests that it won't be a hit, even if it will most likely make its money back and then some. And if that happens, if this year's Fox superhero movie will be received well by the audiences (not necessarily the fans of the comic book characters), then the studio might just reveal its official plans for the crossover.
