Wonder Woman Is Way Too Old In BVS!

Wonder Woman is the eldest among the three!

UPDATE: We have added to this post a new fan made trailer of Wonder Woman solo venture featuring Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck & Henry Cavill. Check it out in the end part of this post!

For any of the upcoming DC Cinematic Universe movies featuring Wonder Woman - including Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – this post contains what could be termed as MASSIVE SPOILERS. You have been warned, okay?

Gal Gadot has recently reached thirty but have you wondered how old will be her DC superhero character when she gets introduced in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice? I thought Wonder Woman would be either in her twenties or thirties. Doesn't that sound like the safest guess?

But a recent rumor propagated by Heroic Hollywood's Umberto Gonzalez (formerly of Latino Review) slams my prediction! It isn't any closer to what I thought! If you thought Ben Affleck's Batman will be the oldest among the superheroes in BVS, you are completely wrong - suggests the rumor! He is still too young in comparison to Princess Diana of Themyscira!

Wonder Woman Ages Centuries!

Wonder Woman is centuries old in BVS!

Yes, according to the latest scoop, Wonder Woman has been living for centuries - not even a single century! The movie will show us some photographs of her that date back hundreds of years, as per the rumor. Let's check out the social media post of the correspondent…(Continued to Page 2)

Does That Make Enough Sense?

Thor
Thor is thousands of years old and still fits in the MCU!

As far as I'm concerned, this rumor would make sense, because in some comic book story arcs, Wonder Woman was indeed hundreds of years aged. The New 52 presents her as a demigod - daughter of Zeus. If Zack Snyder follows such a mythological background, the Amazonian Princess would be the Thor of DCCU, and that wouldn't be a misfit – I guess.

And don't forget that the Wonder Woman television series - featuring Lynda Carter as the titular superhero - that aired from 1975 to 1979, also presented the superhero as a young-looking oldie. You may not remember but we heard a rumor last year – the solo outing of Wonder Woman would be set in the 1920s – that aligns with this one.

However, the project has undergone so many changes by the time, so it is advisable to take this rumor with a pinch of salt for now and wait for pieces of evidence. What do you think though? Do share your thoughts via comments after watching this latest fan made trailer for the Amazonian princess’ solo outing.
