Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has just wrapped shooting - the waiting has begun! And, just like with any major blockbusters, it is now the time when the biggest scoops might be revealed.
For Zack Snyder's sequel to Man of Steel, Badass Digest reports that in this new timeline the Dark Knight has been operating for no less than 17 years - that is so much more than Nolan's Caped Crusader. And the spoiler isn't this, since this was actually quite expected, given the age of Batman in this new movie.
Emblematic character dies…
And this character is an emblematic one for the Dark Knight universe - in these 17 years, it appears that Commissioner James Gordon has been killed! The script doesn't mention when that happened, or who did it. The only thing we can see is a memorial plaque dedicated to the Dark Knight's ally.
Will the action take place in Gotham?
Another important detail is that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will take place mainly in Metropolis. However, two major fights will take place in Gotham (oh, the thrills!), including the climactic one.
Furthermore, it is revealed that Batman will be the leader of the Justice League and that he will be the one to unite all the superheroes against the bigger threat. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this will happen after Alfred advises Bruce to stop fighting Superman.
Anything else?
Well, that's about it - we still have no definitive word about the main antagonist (we know that Lex is just a puppeteer), whether it is Doomsday or (as said in some rumors) Brainiac.
