Bryan Singer takes on his role as lead-teaser for X-Men: Apocalypse by releasing the first look at the new Nightcrawler - who, by all means, looks glorious and even better than the previous one. In X2, the character was portrayed by Alan Cumming and he looked very cool - with all his tats, his moves and his dramatic take.
And while we haven't seen Kodi Smit-McPhee in action yet, we can still say that he looks as if he was taken out of the comics - he might not look as imposing and frightening as the previous version, but still, in X-Men: Apocalypse Nightcrawler is just a teenager.
Nightcrawler - first look
So, without further ado, here he is!
But this isn't all that was shared by Bryan Singer. The director also posted something about the setting used at this moment. And he is going back in the "˜80's, in a time when Return of the Jedi was being released.

And if we pair this to some other pics released by the director"¦
Something more
Bryan Singer also posted new concept art concerning Cerebro (with a not bald Professor X), Archangel and even Apocalypse's tomb (thus telling us that the movie won't be set just in the "˜80's).
Furthermore, behind the scenes pics were also posted, featuring the new Jean Grey, the new Cyclops, as well as newcomers Jubilee and Nightcrawler. Take a look below!
All these being said, we can hardly wait for some more - as in we can hardly wait to see Apocalypse himself. There is still a long way to go, since X-Men: Apocalypse will be released on the 27th of May 2016.
Speaking of Nightcrawler and all the others, will he meet his demise in the beginning of the film, just like so many other mutants in X-Men: Days of Future Past?
