Matthew Vaughn’s filmography is filled with hits. Whether it’s the amazing Layer Cake with Daniel Craig, or 2014's Kingsman: The Secret Service, the director has always found a way to successfully mix action, comedy, and witty dialogue. This seems to be the case with his latest offering, the sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, as well.
Following the apparent death of his mentor (Colin Firth's Harry Hart/Galahad) and the disposal of one of the most entertaining villains in recent memory (Samuel L. Jackson's Valentine), Eggsy (Taron Egerton) is back in the game. This time, he’s up against a villain who seems to know everything about the Kingsman (just as Valentine did in the first movie). However, Poppy (Julianne Moore) takes a different approach to dealing with him, an approach that leads Eggsy across the pond, where he finds unexpected allies in the Statesmen.

Sure, we knew that the death of Colin Firth's character was exaggerated, but still"¦
It’s good to see that Kingsman: The Golden Circle isn’t afraid of some over-the-top action and comedy. But what do you think? Are its submarine cars and other bells and whistles too over-the-top?
