Set to debut in the US in just two days, Doctor Strange has already managed to attract $86 million worth of viewers from the other markets. So it is already safe to assume that this latest Marvel offering will be a huge success. As far as the US release is concerned, Variety reports that Doctor Strange will make at least $70 million during its opening weekend - which is a lot more than Ant-Man, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger pulled in.
Of course, the weekend will be pretty busy. The animated Trolls will certainly steal some of the audience, while the Oscar darling Hacksaw Ridge will do the same. But, even so, Doctor Strange will certainly come out on top.
