The third giant superhero movie of the year, X-Men: Apocalypse is the follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past. The movie introduces the new new class - the younger versions of the mutants we’ve already seen in the original trilogy.
Not only that, but X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce a ton of other mutants, fan favorites who have been expected for a long time on the big screen - Psylocke and Archangel are just two of them (we don't count the Last Stand Angel, simply because he appeared in just a simple cameo).
The movie has already seen the release of two full trailers and several clips. Nonetheless, we are still pretty much up in the air as far as the overall plot is concerned. And, while we do have an idea as to how everything will go down, key scenes from the trailers are still as ambiguous as they come.
In the past few days, Fox and Empire have released quite a few new images to promote the movie. And, while they look awesome (especially the cover featuring the titular villain and his horsemen), they might just reveal a bit more than we wanted - in the sense that they tease which of the horsemen will eventually switch sides.
Check out below these new promotional images for X-Men: Apocalypse!
Those "˜80's were pretty weird as far as the hairdos are concerned - we're looking at you, Angel! Other than that, how cool can that Mystique costume can be!
As said, one of these pics could reveal a bit too much about X-Men: Apocalypse. And while we did see Jean Grey and Cyclops battling Storm, Empire has just revealed that Storm will eventually join the X-Men. Sure, we might have guessed that, given her history, but a bit of mystery concerning her future would have been more than welcomed.
