Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the next movie set in the distant galaxy, a long time ago. And while it arrives this year, on the 16th of December, Disney hasn't released any information of substance about it. Besides a first official pic with the stars and the (obvious) synopsis, we have nothing as yet.
And that is why any piece of news about Rogue One should have the fans jumping up and down with excitement. This could be one of them. We Got This Covered reports that a teaser trailer for the much anticipated spin-off has been leaked online, a teaser which lasts about 30 seconds. It is, of course, low resolution, but it gives us an idea about what we can expect - sort of.
We don't get to see any of the Rogue One actors. Actually, we don't see too much, except for some Walkers, the classic TIE fighter, and something up there, in the sky, all set on an ominous soundtrack. It isn't much, of course, but it gives us a glimpse into what will follow. And, leaving aside the low resolution, what will follow will be a pretty dark story.

Of course, as WGTC says, this should be taken with a grain of salt, since the Rogue One clip could have been easily made by a fan. However, to be noted, several YouTube users who have uploaded the clip had it taken down (for some reason or another - go figure).
What is even more important, if it is indeed the genuine teaser trailer for Rogue One, is that it will be released when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives. We guess we’ll find out on the 25th of March if it was indeed the real thing, or not.
