For quite a while now it’s been said that Batman v Superman will be overcrowded with too many superheroes and villains. And with good reason. After all, besides the Trinity, the movie is also supposed to introduce the remaining Justice League members (minus the Green Lantern), while also adding some Lex Luthor and Doomsday into the mix.
Talking about this issue, Zack Snyder clarified the role of the Justice League in Batman v Superman. As he explains it, it won't be that big a role:
As far as the other Justice League characters go, they play a very small role. It's really just a whisper they exist. Except for Wonder Woman, we see her really well. But really the movie is about Batman and Superman. And we really take time with them and we really drill down on the why of them and what they stand for and their beliefs and them as characters. That's pretty much the why of the movie. But again as I said, it does begin the conversation about these guys are out there.
So, basically, the remaining Justice League members will just have fleeting cameos. But we don't actually believe that, since it doesn't explain why Aquaman (of all superheroes) had his own poster released.
Speaking of Justice League, Henry Cavill seems to have gained quite a lot of weight (for a Superman, of course) since Batman v Superman finished shooting. So he has now started training for 2017’s big DC event. To mark this, the actor posted a pic on Instagram, with quite a revealing caption"¦
This isn't all of the Batman v Superman news, though. A good portion of the Men Are Still Good track from the Batman v Superman soundtrack was released today. It’s composed by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. Check it out below!
There are only 43 days left until Batman v Superman is released!
