Suicide Squad Trailer Announcement

Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad

People have already started talking on the web about the new Suicide Squad trailer, some of them saying they have already saw it. There have been already a couple of trailer commentaries and even trailer descriptions, all of them ending on the same note - the new Suicide Squad trailer is even better than the first. And, just like the second Batman v Superman trailer, it is also one intended for the entire audience, rather than just for the fans of comic books.

While we don't trust any of the descriptions on the web, there is one guy we actually believe - Kevin Smith. Here are a few excerpts from his latest YouTube post: “I saw the Suicide Squad trailer and it was f—ing impressive. Like, hats off to the f—ing marketing people and the trailer I saw, the second trailer"¦ they’re building something that people don’t really read comics are interested in… They’ll play out a joke with dialogue, not just a quip. Some of the shots are goddamn gorgeous. I like this guy, (David Ayer) he’s a great director. Based on those two trailers, give him whatever he wants, let him make more DC movies. He’s got an eye man. Can’t spoil it, but it’s coming soon and that’s the good news.” (click here and find these few words starting from 10:30).

So when will this new trailer drop? Well, just like the guys at Marvel who used the Disney owned channels for their trailers, DC will release the second Suicide Squad trailer on Warner Bros' CW. Here is the official statement from the studio:
